Anneke Rosch is a long-time resident of Nelson BC, in unceded Sinixt territory. 

A musician specializing in trombone and trumpet, Anneke is a founding member of the Oxygen Orkestar brass band, and has played with many groups around the Kootenays. She is a strong believer in the importance of participation in the arts, and is a supporter of community bands, community choirs, and of arts programs in schools. Anneke is the current president of the Nelson Overtures Concerts Society, a non-profit concert producer.

In September 2024, Anneke joined the staff of the Capitol Theatre, Nelson's Live Theatre, Music, and Dance venue, as their Community Engagement and Outreach Manager. She is always interested in finding new ways for the broader community to be involved in the arts, and is excited to support Nelson's vibrant dance community as a Community Dance Connector.
