Radical Rebellion
Following the story of a free thinker and the challenges presented by current societal design. Searching to discover a rebirth and reconnection to our sensory bodies. Unplugging from capitalism and the technological world and reconnecting to divine being and our imaginations, which have been there all along.
Radical Rebellion is an 18 minute piece created and performed in Berlin Germany. Choreographed by Canadian Britt Angus with live music by Colombian artist Nicolas Avila Rodriguez. In this we explore the tensions and relationships that lay between our analogical and digital experiences, moving through discord and glitch and cultivating a sense of synthesis and symmetry. working with equal emphasis on dance, soundscape, costume & design, to create a cinematic and atmospheric world.Originally performed on an old wooden ship in the River Spree in Berlin, this piece is a site specific performance for 10 international and local dancers.
