As a chartered herbalist, anarchist, artist, queer, pan, astrologist, Fìor delights in summoning the power of nature to enkindle sorcery and enchantment. Fìor combines these passions to create performances that excite and inspire audiences. Fìor currently lives in the Rainbow City of Prince Rupert on the traditional unceded territory of the Ts'msyen People. Fìor is humbled and inspired to be performing and creating on the Pacific Coast, on the lush, emerald, majestic Kaien Island.

Fìor is excited for the opportunity to participate in this residency and explore a journey of transformation and awakening. Fìor will explore the feeling of finding their space, purpose and belonging despite contending with the oppressive and overwhelming sense of futility and isolation. They will use the exploratory space as a chance to see the world through different masks of possibilities, exploring identity while they are confronted by authority and judgement. As Fìor faces their fears in this performance piece, they hope to begin a metamorphosis and transformation becoming divine in their full essence providing permission and the freedom that comes with it to be seen. This is an exploration of the feelings Fìor has had with their identity which have been amplified since the pandemic began, feelings of isolation, fear, masks, resolve, and transformation, Fìor hopes that these themes may resonate within their community and seeks to encourage a collective embrace of possibilities and encourage folks to understand their own magic and step into their power.

Fìor believes that art and performance allow for transformative learning opportunities and provide a creative release. Fìor employs disarming tools that invite the audience to get lost in whimsy and engage in deeper conversations about important contemporary issues. Fìor believes that art and performance are triumphs of the human spirit in challenging times and use them as activities for social exploration, harnessing their power to arouse feelings of curiosity, wonderment, and joy. Fìor hopes that this experimental piece will connect with the audience and liberate people's spirits, offering people permission to play while awakening their wild and joyful selves.
