Linda Hayes dancer, musician, choreographer and educator, Linda has been active in the arts for over 30 years. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, She studied with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in the professional program where she trained in all genres of dance with Flamenco being her forte. Linda visits Spain yearly to study and perform. Her teachers are Rocio Molina, Marco Flores, Gala Vivancos, Ana Morales, Belen Maya and Eduardo Guerrero. In December 2021, her work “Sabor Cubano” was commissioned by Flamenco Rosario for live presentation. Linda has produced, directed and choreographed 2 other works, “Malamente”, and Vivaldi en Movimiento”. All Flamenco fusion with various styles. As an educator, Linda has worked with students creating choreographies for festivals, recitals and performances at Harbour Dance Centre, The Landing, and ProArte in Vancouver. As a pianist, Linda is a graduate from the University of Toronto with an Associateship of music in Piano and Music Theory. She operates a music studio in Surrey, BC, teaching Classical, Jazz and Latin to Students from beginner to advanced.
