"La Cosas que importante"
The things that matter
The project is based on a poem by Eric Sanchez "y tu que edad tienes?"
"And How Old are you?" One of the most absurd questions we can ask in life is how old are we, because it's not how many years we have, it's how many years we have lived that matters.
The author talks about the various moments in life that really matter.
I plan to take various topics and create a piece for each.
Embrace, The Kiss, The Party, Goodbye
The Embrace - would be a shawl piece with two dancers, probably a male & female. The shawl can really symbolize the embracing and intimate feelings of two people.
The Kiss - A piece with a fan,
The Party - creating a scene of a party, with traditional spanish dances. Happy
and joyful.
Goodbye - the sorrow of loss - a traditional flamenco dance Siguiriya. Very dramatic - performed with castanets.
