“My experience of dance is as intrinsic and foundational to my nature, growth, and wellbeing, as my ability to breathe.”

Thank You for this opportunity to share from the heart of my experience, the discipline of my practice; the power of my transformation and transcendence. To share my links to the dynamic fabric of relating thru rhythm and movement.

Formal trainings in dance began at age five. Ballet, Jazz, and Yoga. In my teens I expanded with Modern, African and Bellydance. Dancing for fun too I enjoyed all the popular dance moves from sock hop, rock n roll, disco to breakdancing. Being “artsy fartsy” was an ongoing joke in my family as my passion for creative communication includes playing instruments, singing and acting.

As an adult and mother, the dynamics of my expression took a shift to include more restorative, regenerative healing practices that focused on relating more intimately with Mother Nature.

In using my creative capabilities to harmonize with her greater rhythms creating a cohesive artistic way of living.

Believing Life is Art, I am overjoyed to be involved in this Call to Re-Center from the margins, and as mentor to an Emerging Dance Artist.
