Tia Ashley Kushniruk 亚 女弟
Tia Ashley Kushniruk (亚 女弟) is a Chinese-Ukrainian Queer dance performance artist based in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) Treaty 6/Métis Territory of Edmonton AB. Since 2013 she has been affiliated with the Cirque Du Soleil and is artistic producer at Toy Guns Dance Theatre. Her work has been presented by Festival Internacional Nomada, the Beijing International Dance Festival, Dancing on the Edge, Fluid Festival, commonGround Arts Festival, Found Festival, and Mile Zero. She is the first recipient of the Catalyst Theatre Confluence Fellowship, a 2023 EATF recipient and has completed a mentorship with Toronto-based performance artist Bridget Moser. She is currently pursuing her MA in Drama Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto (24/25).
Philip Jonah Logan Geller (they/them|he/him) is Jewish (Ashkenazi) and Red River Michif (Métis) artist, educator, and scholar who is focused on decolonizing their process by listening to and dialoguing with ancestral and cultural knowledge. As a storyteller they have worked across Turtle Island as an actor, director, dramaturg, producer, clown, creator, and community worker with companies including Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Native Earth Performing Arts, Stratford Festival, Centre for Indigenous Theatre, Theatre YES, and Citadel Theatre. They hold a BFA in Acting (University of Alberta) and MFA in Directing (York University).

A tirade of sonic innuendo to pop culture, Buffon about the escapism of being White passing, and ultimately grief through burnout, "a practise: Misinterpretation (a performance)" unveils the constant fight to be true to yourself even when being White might be the easiest option.
