Dé-Reconstruire
Forged at the end of a long journey of healing and convalescence, Dé-Reconstruire explores, through different states of movement, the stages of this universal process of transformation. In this personal work, dancer and choreographer Elise Legrand invites the audience into an introspective space, calling on their own experience of this thematic. Evolving from slow to energetic movement, this contemporary dance piece uses the scenography and costume to create visual images that evoke the process of healing. Enriched by testimonials gathered from the community during each performance, this sensitive work evokes the ability to mobilize our strengths in order to rebuild ourselves.
