Northern BC: Re-Centering/Margins Creative Residency 2021-22
Re-Centering/Margins: Northern BC Creative Residency 2021-22 aims to increase opportunities for BIPOC and/or LGBTQ2S+ emerging dance artists in Northern BC with mentoring support to more fully realize their artistic visions.
This residency will support four dance artists in Northern BC with partners: Bulkley Valley Concert Association, Witsuwit’en Territory/Smithers and ChangeMakers’ Education Society, Ts’msyen La̱xyuup/Prince Rupert with teaching opportunities at Hiit’aGan.iina Kuuyas Naay – Skidegate Youth Centre/Haida Nation Territory
Re-Centering/Margins: Northern BC Creative Residency 2021-22 is supported by the Canada Arts Presentation Fund Program, Support for Workers in Live Arts and Music Sector Fund and the British Columbia Arts Council.
