Three day residency, June 2023 

Written by DADAO 2023 Residency co-facilitator Alyssa Amarshi, this beautiful essay reflects on the time spent engaged over three days with each of the DADAO artists and the roots and origins of so-called Vancouver. 

Alyssa walks us through her thoughts on each day of the residency as the artists learn more about the lands we are on and how this knowledge connects with their works.
